Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all donations and contributions made to VISVAS Charitable Trust through our online payment gateway.

Key Points

• Donations are voluntary and non-commercial in nature.
• Donors must provide accurate information during the transaction.
• Donations will be accepted for Annadhanam, medical reimbursements to deserving patients, educational assistance, and other activities aligned with the Trust’s objectives. Donations given for general purposes will be utilized as appropriate by the Trust.
• Donations can also be made towards the Corpus Fund, which will be used for the long term plans of the Trust.
• VISVAS Charitable Trust reserves the right to refuse or cancel any transaction if fraudulent activity is suspected.
• All donations are processed in INR (Indian Rupees) unless otherwise specified.
• Donors will receive an acknowledgment/receipt via email upon successful payment.
• VISVAS Charitable Trust does not have clearance to accept donations in foreign currency from foreign nationals. If any transaction is made by a foreign national, the amount will be returned to the donor.
• All donations made to the Trust are eligible for Income Tax benefits under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• Any disputes arising out of donations shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
